[ There were reasons that Angela had compared Chloe and Moira to Max. Moira had some of the same defense mechanisms. Though she had a feeling Moira might have been a little less of a feeling type. Still, they both guarded themselves. Maybe it was one reason she adored the younger woman so much. She knew that pain she carried well.
She was relieved to hear her say she wouldn't annoy him, but she wasn't sure entirely that Chloe could...avoid annoying people. She was definitely a bit confrontational in certain ways. ]

She's very misunderstood and often used as a scapegoat. I think sometimes she joined the other side because everyone believed that was all she was good for. Seems a waste to prove people right though.
[ ... Well all of that certainly hit too close to home in the moment. Chloe stared up at her quietly, not saying anything for a while, because there's something weird about figuring out the woman who is the closest thing you have to a mom is dating the Irish Giant Bitchier version of yourself.
